Our Story

Indigo Lodge began when Thad Bertoni and Nick Furhmann met during a summer internship at Ridgecrest. While working as camp counselors, they were assigned to a cabin called “Indigo Lodge,” which inspired the band’s name. Thad had always been passionate about music and knew he wanted to pursue it full-time, so he and Nick started developing the idea of Indigo Lodge and exploring how to build it into a successful business while still in college.

Since Nick attended Clemson, they decided to officially launch Indigo Lodge in downtown Clemson. They played their first shows at Itsurweiner, Backstreets, and Roar, quickly building a strong local following. Since then, they have continued to draw packed crowds in Clemson every weekend while expanding their reach to new locations, including Greensboro, North Carolina, and Columbia, South Carolina.

Looking ahead, Indigo Lodge aims to grow beyond the college bar scene by performing across the Southeast and the Lowcountry, while also creating and releasing original music. Their first original song, “Feel It Now,” will be released on April 25, 2026.
